FURNISH — The Book

The whole FURNISH project between two covers — what was built, how, and what it taught about giving streets back to people.

FURNISH began in the COVID-19 emergency, when the need to rethink public space became suddenly literal. This book gathers the project from its 2020 inception: the methodologies developed to intervene in the street, the open call and the fab-lab network that produced the Mobile Urban Elements, and the experimental results from pilots across six European cities. Published open access by CARNET Future Mobility Research Hub with Iniciativa Digital Politècnica at UPC, under CC BY-NC-ND.
